Termites? I thought they were maggots?

I'd love to make a comment, but your 'mixed metaphors' have me confused. Are Democrats eating the furniture at the Capitol? Inexcusable. Are they starting a program about insects?

Democrats United? >200 separate, independent opinions will never be in 'lock step' with one another. That's the basis of a representative democracy. DIFFERENT ideas from people with different backgrounds to create legislation that benefits the most people across the country.

Now you want to be united?

What party has for the last 6 years had the mantra of if you do not agree with us, you are an anti-American piece of **** and you should just leave the country?

What party has been pushing legal enforcement of religious doctrine with the defense of marriage act?

Republicans have no room to complain about the divisions that they intentionally created in the public.

United?
Where is it writen in stone that we have to be united?
You seem to have America confused with China.
In China you can be sent to prision for disagreeing with the goverement.
In China, you have to respect the Chinese flag and be patriotic, otherwise they send you to "political re-education centers".
The Chinese goverment controls the press, the media and the internet to make sure the people are "United" in their support of the Chinese Goverment.
.
I think you and anyone else who dislikes the Democratics should move to China, where I'm sure, you will be welcomed wirh open arms!
.
The Democratic, Liberal faction in this country are United in their belief that we don't deserve a goverment that lies to us.

Speaking of "United not divided" I just want you to understand how much Bush divided this nation politically. It's very obvious.
Anyway, the democrats were unable to do anything until this point. (THEY JUST CONVENED ABOUT 1 HOUR AGO FOR GOD'S SAKE!)
They will initiate their revitalizing 100-hour plan soon enough. It will be great. Wait and see before being pessimistic.

the democrats and republicans are all going to be the same in the grand scheme. they're both going to complain about the other while the opposite side is in office. it's a never ending game, and the evils will never be worked out.

if your parties policies can't standup to someone speaking out against them maybe their just plain wrong.demacrat or republican I'm tired of both complaining when people actually use there freedom of speech to express a different opion if the facts don't support what your saying your wrong.

United behind Bush? Do you mean in the same way the Republicans were united with the Dems behind Clinton?

Why does "compromise" in Republican-ese mean "do what I want?"

It seems to me that the Democrats as well as a lot of other voters were more than "fed up with the "Program" and decided to change it!

When are you going to give up your sour grapes and hop aboard???????????????????
