Shampoo, bubble bath or any mild kitchen cleaners.Best of all though is washing powder, the stuff you wash your clothes in.Get the water as hot as you can stand, melt the powder as best you can and the wash the pots.Make sure you rinse them really well! Your pots will shine.

If you have a little bit of washing up liquid left right at the bottom of your bottle that you can't squeeze out unscrew the bottle, add a little water to dilute the solution.
Give it a little shake and use as normal.
You're not sad, I just spent the evening cleaning the kitchen top to bottom! Got pretty grubby over christmas!

Fill the sink with hot water and let it soak for a few minutes then wipe each item with a cloth or use your hand under a running tap of hot water and it will soon come off. Any baked on dirt can be left to soak longer and can be scraped with a wooden spatular.

Leave them to soak in boiling water for a while then use a tiny bit of soap powder or laundry liquid. Make sure you rinse really well.

I'm guessing you're meaning dishes right?
If so...don't use washing powder, too many chemicals and it leaves streaks. If you have any mild handwash (liquid of course) this should do the trick or very mild shampoo (such as baby shampoo).

Any type of detergent. i think its all basically the same stuff. someone told me they used to was their hair with washing up liquid, so why not use shampoo to do the washing up?
Failing that, let it soak in a bowl of water and deal with it tomorrow.

Dont use hot water! Not unless you want the "wet dog" smell on all your pots. This has happened to me in the past and any detergent will be o.k really, shampoo is good enough. Rinse em well.

You can use liquid soap. Just remember not to use a lot or it'll bubble out onto the floor!
