Find it using an Anti-Virus program and delete the bad file. You could go to www.filehippo.com and download one for free.

Good luck!

Forget all of the virus software! Dude, all you need to do is do what I'm fixing to tell ya. I stumbled up on this shittt after a technician for the internet couldn't even help me! You need to click on the 'Start' button in the lower left hand corner of your computer. Next, in the new window that pups up, click on Help and Support on the right hand side. When the next window opens up, go to the right hand side in the 'Pick a Task' section and click on 'Undo changes to your computer with system Restore.' Once you click on that, a calendar will pop up where you have to pick a bold-faced date. See, I found out that the computer automatically has checkpoint dates where you can BACK DATE your computer like going back in time to a date where there were no problems. (Don't you wish life had these kinds of dates where you could just switch back to day before you made an awful mistake?) So you pick a day that is bold and was the last day you remember where the computer was just fine. After you click on the date, just click on 'Next' at the bottom, and I believe you have to give it a few minutes to process. And Voila! Your problem should be history! Man, oh man! I'm glad I just kept tinkering around on my computer and figured this shittt out instead of raking out a couple hundred dollars to some computer technician who might have done what I did!

The last time I had computer virus was when I was spending too much time in front of the computer screen. My doctor told me to take a break, and the virus went away. I am now cured. Praise the Lord.

Search google for the specific virus name and the word 'remove'. You should find specific registry keys and files/folders to remove.

Do using safe mode.

Update and run your Anti-Virus program. Don't have one? You can run a free online scan from Trendmicro. When I have tested it it takes some time to run it but it may be time well spent if it can fix any problems.

Download and run http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Or you can run a free online scan at http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/scan.aspx

I would hope that you have a virus scan program loaded on your pc. If you do, it should quarantine the virus for you.......
