my mom's birthday is coming up soon and she always tells me that she wants me to make her something. i am running out of ideas... any suggestions???

This is a great question. There are a lot of things you can do. Do all of these as 1 big gift
1 clean the house real nice for her
2. Make her an amazing dinner and clean up aftet
3. A cheese cake/cake/desert that she would love
4. You can go to the dollar store and get a frame that has a couple of slots for random pictures normally like $ 5 and then you can fill it up of pictures of her when she was a child. Call grandma for pictures. How sweet is that.

Well my mom has her own store and she's always missplacing her pens. I decided to make her a whole bouquet of flower pens. You simply by silk flowers from a craft store, cut the flower from the bunch it comes and attach it to the pen with floral tape. It's simple. I bought a variety of flowers so it looked really nice when you put them together. I also put it in a big fish bowl and filled it with clear marbles.
Another idea is making a picture frame. At michaels there are the plain frames you can buy. With your favorite craft paper that you like you just cut the outline of the frame and then glue the outline onto the frame creating a decorative frame. add stickers and use your imagination and creativity. If its for your mom a picture of you and her would be nice or a picture of the whole family.

Make her some perfume or some soap! For perfume, get some essential oils like lavender, rose, vanilla or something, mixed with some water and you can add some alcohol, like vodka or something to keep it sterile. You'll only need a few drops for a light scent. Make your own label, shake and spray!!!! Or dab on. Depending on the bottle you store it in. And for soap, you can go to the drugstore and pick up some glycerine soap and melt it in a pot (careful!) and pour it into a mold, like a little bowl, and you can put some flower petals or something in the bowl and so it'll be trapped in the soap once it hardens. =)

a lap throw. If you have a sewing machine, and odd pieces of fabric, simply sew them all together until you have a rectangle of about 45" x 60" . then add a backing, and stitch them together at about 6" intervals. If you don't have a sewing machine, buy 2 coordinating pieces of polar fleece about 60" long and cut 2" fringes all along all edges. place the two pieces of materia together and atatch by knotting the fringes together. Its really easy, and looks expensive but isn't.

make her a cake and cookies or go to www.lovingyou.com they have lots of ideas for stuff you can make, mostly for couples in love but you can probably find something for your mom too if you get creative. Make her a book of coupons stating things you will do for her (i.e. dishes, car wash, vacuum, clean bathroom, back rub, etc)

Picture frame
You need:
card board
glue ( hot glue gun if not elmers is fine)
your imagination etc....... glitter, scrap fabric, ribbons, you name it use it.
cut your card board into a shape square heart what ever. make 2 shapes glue them together leaving the top open for picture to go in and decorate your heart out.
