My brother is an ENT surgeon & my sister a head teacher.

My father, brother and I all sleepwalk as adults and have extremely vivid dreams. We all have night terrors; like a nightmare but occurs within the first hour of sleep and wakes the person momentarily paralyzed still from sleep.
We can't all stay in the same place somewhere without giving people a head's up that three people will likely either 1) wander around the house in a slumber 2) wake up screaming bloody murder 3) wake up 10 times a night to turn on all the lightblubs in sleep.

My mom had a "near death experience" with the long dark tunnel, the bright light of God at the end. (She also heard a buzzing noise).
She had left my brother and I (then 7 and 12), home while she drove to the local quick shop for some milk. It was raining and she was run off the road by a drunk driver and hit a power pole. She was trapped in the car and it was on fire.
Luckily, this incident occurred right in front of the Fire Dept, that my brother would work for in the future!
The firemen were on the scene in seconds and extracated her from the car - it was in these brief moments, my mom had this experience.
Also, one final tidbit.....my brother and I knew the instant there was an accident involving our mother. We were watching "Chips" and the power flickered off and then on. Then we immediately heard sirens. I turned to my brother and said, "that is mom". And it was.
