A few years ago I came across a site called epitonic.com It's a great place to start with an artist you may have already discovered. They give you reliable links to other artists under the subject "Other artists you may like...". I discovered some really great bands this way. I hope they are still running the site and that it is still as useful as it was when I needed fresh music. Also you could download a few mp3's of each artist for free - I don't know if this is the case anymore. Check it out.
