Pretentious? Annoying? hypocritical? and considering their state and status do they completely negate their own attempts at helping anything just by being themselves?

Like Bono... asking what we can do to end poverty while he has someone send for his lucky hat via private jet, so that he can perform at a concert? I mean... what in lieu of any kind of known reality, is that? How can he or any of them ever expect anyone to relate considering?

The term "simple minded" seems to fit them pretty well.

All of the above. I love how celebrities act as though they are highly educated. Most have never graduated high school. They should not be looked at as great humanitarians for what they do, but as what anyone in there situation should do if they had an endless amount of resources!

I wouldn't hold their financial status against them. I'm just good ol' middle class, but I don't begrudge the rich.

Now that you mention it, I do have to question their motives....some questions could be taken as slightly condescending.

Yes I do.. Like Oprah's' "pay it forward "question... where she asked the Y/A community if they had 1,000.00 to change someones life how would they "pay it forward"... since when does $1000.00 change anyones life? And instead of asking Oprah should be donating... she sure can afford it...~

instead of judging them let me ask you this? Did you see the Oprah program where she went to Africa to give those kids clothes and shoes? It was so beautiful I cried....but i dont think they should advertise their tv programs on answers...its against the rules..
