The fish got stuck to the intake of a new filter on the tank. I have reduced the intake rate so no one gets stuck again.

You should not need to medicate the fish. Adding a medication for a fish that isn't sick is a waste of money, and can hurt your biological filtration.
Your fish's tail will grow back in time. Feed a high quality food to encourage growth. Add a little salt (1 flat tbsp / 5 gallons of water, disolved first in dechlor water) to keep away any infections that might take place.
Other than that, just clean water, good food, and time.

You can buy a medication called melafix at the pet store. Follow the directions and use it for a week. It will keep the fins from becoming infected and promote regrowth faster.

I use it all the time on my fancy bettas.
