Loch Ness, Cornelia, is a large, very deep, murky fresh water lake sitting on a geological fault. It probably interconnects with other lakes and possibly even the sea. The legend of Nessie goes back for many years. My opinion? I think that there may be some truth to this legend. A throw back to the Age of the Dinosaur could lurk in the deep dark waters of this lake. Some theories say that it is some kind of giant water slug, which is why remains have never washed up on shore. Stranger things have happened.

I don't believe it exists for the simple reason that there isn't enough food in the loch to support the Loch Ness Monster.
Think about it, there would have to be a breeding population of whatever these creatures are in the loch, most people say that it is a plesiosaur and Loch Ness is too small to support a breeding population. Also if these are air breathing creatures than there would be sightings every day.
