I am about to have a body checkup and I am currently taking birth control pills. My parents will kill me if they know that I am taking birth control pills. Will the doctor be aware that I am taking the pills? I am going to have a checkup by blood/poop/pee. Is it going to show in my blood results? Will the doctor mention it when giving me the results? I cannot let my parents find out. Help me out here!
(I am of LEGAL age)

my parents will be in the room with me when the doctors tell me the results of my checkup! So i was just wondering will they mention it..or it will be irrelevant to my health therefore he won't refer to it?

if you are of legal age, your results should be confidential. usual checkups are for serious illnesses, they check your blood/urine for your levels in cholesterol, for diabetes, things like that, unless it is specifically requested for testing of drugs or things like that, but like i said, if you are of legal age, it's confidential.
good luck

First of all you are of legal age and there is no way you have to have parents in there when you see a doctor. There is such a thing as patients privacy and patent's rights . He cannot tell anything if you don't allow it . Secondly, unless you metion it, there is no way to tell by an examination when you take birth control pills . Did you make out a medical questionair ahead of time ? Maybe you did but even then he mentions it only if he finds for some reason it could be bad for you . Play it safe and for heavens sake keep your parents out of there. It is none of their business .

there is a thing called patient doctor confidentiality so if you let the doctor know that your parents don't know they shouldn't be able to tell if you are of legal age. they will just tell you that you should probably let your parents know that you are being safe and all.

If you are of legal age no one can get your results BUT you....but something like that would show up on blood and/or pee tests.

No it wont show.
But if you of legal age what is the problem ?
You should tell the doc and also tell the doc you dont want any mention in the report.
They MUST respect you privacy.

No it won't, but the doctor can't tell your parents anything anyway if you are of legal age.
