The same america wanted the former Yugoslovian serbian presidet to be handed over to the International court of justice for crime against humanity and infact he was tried at the Hague. Why the same yardstick was not applied to iraq.

Most Americans are pretty intelligent, that's why. What is your delusion? Jealous or scared of the USA?

Saddam also was standing trial for crimes against his own people, not the people of Iran. That was to come after the 11 counts of mass murders went to trial. I applaud the Iraqi's decision to hang.

The Iraqis were pretty prickly, to say the least, about Saddam's trial, his walk to the death chamber, and the fact that they refused to have any Americans there when they executed him. They were determined that we have no say other than holding him in custody, and they only allowed that because their own security force is currently incompetent. Do you really think they were in collusion with Bush when they have publicly and haughtily refused a time table, any hand in the trial, and kept all Americans away from his execution? I think they were eager to try Hussein on their own and eager to show they could dispense justice without the Americans holding their hand. I'm glad that they did so, they made a mess out of it and have no one to blame but themselves. My God, they couldn't even execute Saddam without acting like uncivilized beasts, it makes one wonder what and who exactly we are trying to "save" over there.

WAR - What is it good for - for having Iraq try and convict and hang Saddam for crimes against his people. This azzhole murdered millions and they rose up and killed him in the end. Look at the Video of the trial and the hanging - Bush was not there and had no part. That was Iraqi justice.

I don't refuse to accept Bush's hand in Saddam's execution. On the contrary, I credit Bush's policies for leading to Saddam being brought to justice.

If it wasn't for Bush, Saddam would still be alive now.

As for Milosevic, I agree. He sould have been executed too. The man was a known Communist for chrissakes! But you have to remember, there was a different Administration in the US at that time.

Well, the US left it up to the people of Iraq. It was too much of a risk to let him sit in jail. He would have escaped.

Because Bush was ticked off at Saddam for wanting to knock off his daddy!

Trying Saddam was a worse mistake than invading Iraq which had absolutely nothing to do with the WTC!

And because basically Bush is a Fruit Cake and afflicted with the same kind of Meglomania that Hitler had that caused him to self-destruct!
