Dear Lil'MissS:

You say that you are the manager so; manage. I am not trying to be insensitive to your question don't be afraid to say to your manager that you were brought in to the organization to do just that..Manage, explain to your manager that when given your position you in effect agreed to be the responsible person and the only way that you can do that is to do your job. Try to make a friend of him and let him or her know that you will come to them for advise when necessary after all by having you there should give your manager more flexibility to do their job. Unless you are up to your ears with your managers unwanted intervention stick with it. For being a manager try to look at this as an opportunity for personal growth. It will help you in your future endeavors.

Best wishes,

Never quit a job!! Get hired away by the competition.

Freshen up your resume, or get one. Then start interviewing in your field. Now that you have management experience you are one rung up on the ladder of life. Go for a management job that you think you would like.

While you are out there interviewing, you don't need the job you are interviewing for, since you are employed. You will be learning all sorts of pleasant and unpleasant truths about other management jobs. Like how many are just labels with zero authority.

You may even get an offer. Always try to get an offer even if you don't really want the job. This will tell you a lot about how desirable you are in the work force.

When you finally get an offer that you want to move on. Finish the entire process of getting hired. Then give your notice.

Always go for what you want. Don't take another crappy job!!
But don't leave the crappy one you have until you have a good job.

Put up with the crap. You have a manager which obviously means you are not the top person in charge (ie...head manager). Until you are in the position of head manager you will not be making all the decisions.
If you really are a manager you are most likely responsible for management of a single department. As a department manager you are supposed be making decisions for your department, not the entire office.

Well, I wouldn't risk it, but maybe you need to try something else?

Have you heard of Internet Marketing? I've been doing this biz for a couple of months now, and I am quite successful.

I've read an ebook called money with adwords that actually shows how you can profit from other people's product.

And I can say it's pretty addicting and fun. Oh the url is http://www.moneywithadwords.com

Hope I helped.

Quitting is never an option. Do the best you can do. If someone chooses to go in a different direction, take it in stride. If it fails, it is their fault. If it succeed it is a learning experience for you.

If your advice is taken, you will bear all the risks. Thank those for their critical thinking, you will be appreciated for it.

You should ask him why he making all the decisions instead you making decisions yourself. Talk about it with him. Than see (or ask).
