The problem is not a black thing per say with a 40% dropout high school rate in the US the problem is basically ignorance.
Whenever you get a bunch of ignorant uneducated people all in the same area with access to weapons there is going to be problems.
The Middle East is a classic example of this.

Who knows.
It seems the black males especially have a lot of aggression and violent tendancies. Not all, but a good portion. Especially those that are lower income. The better educated ones don't act like that normally.
And the blacks from other countries act more civilalized than the ones born in America.

Not sure if this occurs at every celebration and festival, but there is always a risk among people who have been oppressed and disempowered to act out in ways that victimize others. Consider that disputes among groups of people within the community might spill over into public gatherings.

that use to happen in San Diego but know you have to walk through metal detectors especially at the purterican fair how ever you spell it and i never heard of the caribana

I'm pretty sure every black person attending a black celebration is not toting a gun. Don't generalize because of what a few bad apples are doing. Those bad apples are probably involved in gang activity, or something like it. You have one group from one area, another group from another area, they instantly don't like each other. Normally they wouldn't be in the same vicinity. Until they go to events like these. So, violence is more likely to errupt. Unfortunately, its like that everywhere. I prefer to go to events like these earlier in the day. So, the "hood" element is less likely to be present.

Because extreme amounts of fun and joy lead to violence....I dont know!!!
When I go to caribbana i have a good time...i plan on wining on someone i don't know.....jamming to some ice reggae music and having some fun...no one i know thinks about shooting someone

see that is why you will ALWAYS see cops patrolling retail stores who's customers are 90percent black.
blacks will continue to deny their problem. "it not be a black problem per say." LOL
