I think he would be cuz the crap that is out now, he would be rolling around in his grave. I was just listening to the "Biggie Duets" and I admit that Biggie had the perfect blend of good hip hop and catchy beats. Its so rare to find that nowadays, you got guys like common and others who have something to say but the beats are dry, and rappers whos beats are FIRE but couldnt rap if their life depended on it. Biggie will always be on top in my book.

I don't think Biggie would still be on top b/c right now unless you're snapping your fingers or "walkin it out" your records aren't getting much play anyhow. He would still be a major player in the game for the people that grew up when music had a message but he wouldn't be as popular as he once was.

It's hard to say since hip-hop is so volatile with new "hot artists" rising to the top every few years.

He would of stayed big for awhile and then faded out like the others, look at Eminem and 50, they are still well known but 2 years ago they were way bigger then they are now.

I would think so, but you gotta think, the rap game would be different though. Biggie would have put out more albums and kept setting the bar you feel me?

No, but he could of been the best around 2002 or so. Now, I don't think so.

There will never be another "Biggie"..........all the rappers now are typical, nothing new and original.
