you can apply the Availability equation, which is:

Availability = MTBF/(MTBF + MTTR)

MTBF = Mean Time Between Failure
MTTR = Mean Time To Repair

For MTTR, you can include unscheduled failures, scheduled maintenance and time the line is not running for any other purpose if you want.

try doing the production lline youself for an hour and see what your efficiency is as apposed to anyone elses , then you have something to go on as a base line try it over a set time and multiply that by the time in a day less any down time like luch , tea and machine mentainence times days in a working week and there ya go buddy
