This is a no-brainer. McNabb will be playing next year as long as he is healthy and fully recovered. In Andy Reid's eyes, McNabb can do no wrong. Garcia is too old to be a fanchise QB, but he's an excellent back-up, especailly since McNabb may prove to be injury prone. But even if Garcia starts at training camp, McNabb is the guy when he's healthy.

Garcia should be back, he wants to stay in Philly cause it's a winning franchise in general, he doesn't want to jump to yet another team, he won't be a starter with any good teams cause they already have their QB in place so he'd end up somewhere crappy again.

Mcnabb is just good cause the media makes him out to be. He actually sucks. Garcia has the numbers this season to back it up. team wasn't even talked about being good until Garcia came along. He should start. Would it not be funny if Garcia won a super bowl with the Eagles and Mcnabb did not?

If the Eagles visit the Superbowl with out McNabb, which means the Eagles are enjoying as a set. McNabb is the franchise quarterback and became having a acceptable 12 months until now he became harm. Garcia picked up the slack. The Eagles are working the ball extra and have a extra balanced offense. it fairly is the version interior the offense and not the quarterback.

The franchise has been built around mcnabb, so he'll be the starter next year. Garcia was signed to a 1 year deal and so he (even as of now) may be offered an extension. But with as well as he did he may be offered a starter job with a team that has a west coast offense. Could end up anywhere, however i got the feeling a big extension will be thrown his way seeing how mcnabb has been hurt 3 of the last four years and season ending injuries the last 2 mid way through.

What a QB controversy that would be!

But you have to stay with McNabb. The guy is more talented and as a Cowboy fan, I'd be more afraid of McNabb than Garcia. It would probably be a fluke if they won the Super Bowl with Garcia. Just because they've had success, doesn't mean it's solely because of him.

How long did the Ravens stay with Dilfer when they won the Super Bowl?

If the Eagles win the Superbowl I believe there will be no rush to have McNabb ready by the beginning of the season.

Garcia will start, and as long as he continues to play well, McNabb will return when he is 100% healthy and cleared for play, and at that they may ease him back slowly.

With 2 excellent quarterbacks I'd say when McNabb is back to 100% health you play each quarterback for a 1/2 or alternate quarters :-) Keep'em fresh!

Both QB's are aging and it will be interesting to see if one or both can continue the level of play they have displayed in the past.

Go birds!

McNabb is the starting QB.....Garcia is doing wonderful he knows the West Coast offensive better then McNabb does but there in NO WAY Reid will bench McNabb...

McNabb is a notorious big-game loser (puking, running out of gas, errant throws, etc.) who has been blown out of 3 or 4 NFC championship games.

That said, he is the franchise player and that won't change.

The answer is, no matter what happens in these playoffs, Garcia can still play and is better than more than half the starting Qbs in this league!! Trade him to somebody and let him be the man again like he was with the 49ers before T.O. sunk his career!

Thats a big IF. Mcnabb's done wonders for the Eagles, even leading them to the NFC championships multiple times and a superbowl. Garcia is old and might not be around much longer

You're right. A BIG "IF"!

Garcia is too damn old! I know McNabb had a lot of chances, but seriously. McNabb gives the Eagles the best shot, barring injury. I say give him one more injury, then call it quits.
