I am trying to buy something online w/ a money order how do i get it and send it

go to the post office or grocery store with the CASH plus a few extra bucks. Tell the person behind the counter the exact amount of the money order. He/She will print it out. They charge a nominal fee of $.50 or more for the "processing fee". Then, write the name of the person or company you're sending it to on the line, put it in an envelope, slap a stamp on it, and send it.
Keep the stub of the Money Order for yourself.

Go to the post office, tell them how much you need and they will print one out on the spot.
Keep the receipt, in case it gets lost in the mail, and the just mail it by regular mail.

Your local grocery store should be able to supply you one. They are usually .59 or .79 cents. Then just fill it out properly and send it. Good luck!
