my girlfriend of 5 yrs has been wearing pantyliners for the past month saying its for the discharge, its this the truth or just a cover up for the smell of cheating?

Do you have a trusting relationship with her? I would say if she tells you it's for discharge then believe her. Have you talked to her about it? Are you insecure? Do you need attention?

I believe it could be either,but if she was cheating without protection, you would really notice a smell. When semen mixes with a womens scent, the results are definately extremely noticeable. I know some women who do have a lot of discharge certain times around ovolation and her period and the pantyliners do stop from getting wet underwear. (which can be uncomfortable). Also, sometimes after a bladder infection, (which isnt always sex related) leaves you with a bit of urine after you sneeze or cough, so a pantyliner is good for that too. If you have an honest relationship, you should just ask her why she does it and ask if there are any other problems if it has only been for the last month. Also this is really gross, but check the pantyliner after she throws it out. If it really has a distinct smell and looks like semen and you know you haven't had sex, then she probably has cheated, but I've never heard of that to cover up cheating.

old lady advice. If she has a discharge she should see a doctor. could be a yeast infection (or) claymidia which is passed from one sexual partner to another. If you been having sex with her then you could have it too. But men don't discharge with this like women do and usually have no signs. So if she goes to dr and gets meds so should you , or you will give it right back to her. Best to let a doctor take a look and tell you what she has. There are lots of sexual diseases with discharge Women do not wear liners to cover up a cheat session. Also men should not jump to the conclusion that just because she may have something she got it somewhere else. Unless you gave it to her cheating yourself.??

There are women that were panty liners daily. I have never known a woman to wear one to cover up the "smell of cheating"?!? What exactly is the smell of cheating. Does she smell when she's been with you? How would you tell the difference. Come on. Think rationally. Has she given you any other reason to think this way? If you really want to know , ask her. It's the truth as a pantyliner may help mask the smell of cheating it won't cover it completely.

During a womans monthly cycle they tend to discharge more before their period starts. But if she has been wearing it daily it could be an infection, or like in my case it could be because she has a problem with leaking urine. It is hard to really give you an idea as to what the problem could be without anymore info, but if you can put your own suspicous thoughts aside maybe you could take the time to ask her. Show her you care about her health and ask her if she is having female problems, maybe you could encourage her to see a doctor.
In any case if I woman is having problems in her pelvic region, sex will be the last thing she is interested in. It could be painful, or embarrasing to her because of odors.
Be more sensitive to her and talk to her about your concerns,
don't accuse her of cheating just because you dont understand!

That's normal. Woman use them all the time to catch discharge so that it doesn't get on their underwear. It's normal. Besides, that wouldn't hide the "smell of cheating". Seriously, I think you need to relax and not be so paranoid.

Oh Good Lord...if you are that possessive and insecure she probably will eventually cheat! Let her choose her feminine hygiene products...you don't need to stick your nose into everything! LITERALLY! Mask cheating? Why would you think that? If you change your deodorant are you cheating? I am shaking my head over this one!

yes women get alot of discarge don't worry if she wears it WAY to muck see what days her peroid is and is its the week before her
period or a week after your okay this may sound kinda mean but
she might be if its every day of the month im srry :(

It's the truth--don't worry-she's just being clean and fresh with herself. She's taking care of her clothes as well as her hygeine--be happy you have a woman like that.
