Friend #1: Wants a hip hop CD, mostly underground or alternative stuff. I'm thinking of Immortal Technique, Little Brother, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Naughty by Nature, Hieroglyphics, maybe Insane Clown Posse... what else should I put in?

Friend #2: A DJ who listens to a huge variety of music. He likes Echo & the Bunnymen, the Cramps, Buzzcocks etc. but also Everly Brothers, even Le Tigre. I want to make a mix CD he's never heard before. I'd like a lot of female-fronted bands, too, and slower songs, but also things he can dance to and even some "classic emo", if you will. Artists I'm considering:
Dressy Bessy, American Football/Owen, the Ladybug Transistor, Jejune, Liars, Pelican... give me ANYTHING you consider good. He'll really listen to anything.
