Until he picks up his play, and gets the opportunity to play on Joe Thorton's line again, and from here on out......there's no way he'll put up as big as numbers as last year unfortunately.

San Jose has chewed up and spit out a lot of hotshots.

Friesen. Marleau.

Cheech is of that ilk, a player with real brilliance who can back it up with work ethic and willingness to get in there and do what it takes.

San Jose has never worked on developing and maturing these guys into the superstars they could easily become. They've put too much of the wrong kind of pressure on them, haven't provided veteran leadership on the ice or in the locker room and while Wilson's been a good coach for a team of young players, I don't think he handles lifetime players well.

I don't think he'll come back as strong.

I sure hope so. I'm waiting.....and hoping he starts tonight against the Ding-a-lings. He's going to have produce at least 5-10 hat-tricks. Also, with his injury earlier this season, he might not be as confident?? Plus, I think a lot of the coaches and players have caught onto him and watch him a lot more than they did last year.

I think he will. He seems to be hitting his stride in the last few games. Even if he doesn't get to the standard he did last year, he's still doing awesome this year and a strong part of the team.

Plus he's totally hot!

I strongly believe he'll rebound for the second half. So far, with 1 goals and 12 assists, he's off to a slower start...he'll get hot!!!
