It displays what the bios tells it to display. Your motherboard may be compatible with your cpu but if the "shipping" version of the system bios pre-dates the cpu then it may not register as such. You can download the latest version of your motherboards bios at the Asus web site.

Make sure you also have the latest version of the bios update utility.

Don't worry about that....As long as it is showing the correct Speeds it is working properly...
