Yes. It is definitely possible. People do it all the time. However, you do not provide a lot of information on your specific situation. Are you referring to planning to have a child? Do you already have a child? Are you pregnant? Are you married? What is your job? Why can't you afford child care? Where do you live? Etc. etc.

I do not necessarily recommend that you let us in on all this information, but you have to know you are asking a very general question. Different situations in different locations require different solutions. The best thing you can do is talk to friends and family and get some help! Also, look into local programs designed to help women in your specific situation. They are out there. Check your yellow pages or talk to your doctor.

Good luck!

you made no sense? firstly if your child's under 10 he or she should not be left unattended. if more than one child involved the oldest for two is 12 years of age can look after younger sibling age 9years. more then that you need and require teenager. about age 16 plus. Try to find a friends you can seek help with and make compromizes with like they babysit for you and you do it back in return during your off time hours. You never know until you ask. Some friends are willing and understanding especially if they are a stay at home mother.

I did it...worked 40 hours plus a week, spouse did the same, we had daycare. Kids need care outside the home to develop early mentally and get along with classmates. Where do your kids go when your at work? You have two choices, work and get a good daycare provider....and allow your children the edge on development, or two, stay home and collect a welfare check. You need to work, you have kids to provide for....you don't mention a spouse....so am assuming your on your own. Stay employed because you have too. The kids will do just fine.

Oh it's possible. How much will you keep doing it with full energy depends on what job you do. Don't you have any relatives that live close by that you could give the children to until you get home, and then you can be with them? I presume though that you're single... in which case it would be more difficult to parent.

Not properly parent a child, no? How about the father (or making good choices and getting married first to a good man) or birth control?? Maybe try one of those things

Yes, you can, and you really have no other choice. Involve the children in household tasks and reward them with lots of praise and affection!
