Pregnant.
If (and most probably not..) all three have 100 babies each...will that cause problems for my tank? Im sure if there is 300 babies, the will probably get eaten by the adults...but do you think that would be to crowded for my filter and heater?

They are probably pregnant, yup. Any female guppy who has had contact with a male is most likely pregnant.

Anyway, they probably won't have 100. 100 is not unheard of, but it is a lot of fry (babies); way more than average. You can expect 10-60 babies from each fish, and most, or all, will be eaten. It won't cause any problems because they'll alllll be eaten.

If you provide enough plants, some may survive, but very few. If they *did* all survive, then yes, you'd have a problem with overcrowding - your biological filtration would not be able to cope with the amount of fish - but they won't survive, and for the brief time they are in the tank, they will not cause any problems.
Don't forget, too, that all 3 won't give birth at the same time.

lol,doubtful they'll have 100 babies each!

However, you need at least 2 females for each male fish,or they'll torture that female to death. Guppies do nothing but eat,poo and mate. =)

I'd suggest watching very carefully for any babies. If you do see any little swimming specks with HUGE!!! eyes? =) You're good to go and you've got babies! I'd suggest Wardley's liquid fry food to feed the little ones. There's six or seven month old babies swimming around in my 29 gallon... and that's the product of 3 females. ^^

Yes there would obviously be major problems if they each had 100 fry. 100 fry is not impossible, but in all my years of breeding guppies, The biggest batch of fry I ever got from 1 mother is 47.

your guppies probably wont have 300 babies but you should keep them in a seperate tank untill they are an inch long.
