I've done it to Mini disc,but wondered if it's possible to record it to a cd either from dvd or MD. thanks!

Sure. You just need a program to rip the audio from the DVD. I use the ImTOO DVD Ripper.

if you have a dvd/cd burner on your computer you can copy the dvd to your computer then burnit to cd
