I never think about it. Why, is it bothering you for some reason?

My marriage was an interracial one and it lasted for 15 years. Although I am now divorced, it had nothing to do with being different racially. I always took the attitude that I would not let it be an issue for me, and it never was. To sum up, I think they can work. Things are a lot different now for mixed couples than they were in the early 90's. Thank goodness!

I do not believe that race is a legitimate phenomenon.
Racial categories were constructed to create hierarchical societies of domination during the colonial period. They were invented by Europeans to determine who could gain privileged access in colonial societies and later in the mother country (the US was a colony, of course). Social scientists generally agree that race is bogus, and thinking about categorizing offspring reveals racial categories as obvious social creations. If a pale Scandinavian and dark African person have a child, how is it labeled? Black? White? Mulatto? It depends on the society doing the labeling. There is actually so little genetic difference between what we call different races that they are basically meaningless. Unless one is using race as a way to determine who gets what.

I personally don't see anything wrong with it. As long as the two people getting married can deal with the cultural differences of their families, then what the heck.
Biologically, it should'nt be a problem neither. Any human can mate with another human of opposite sex and create a child. If we were truly different races, then this would'nt be so.

Personally I find nothing wrong with them. At the end of the day you should worry about your own happiness and not what others feel maybe in the best interest of your happiness. Race is not important at all, what is important is whether you can find someone you can get along with. Now that there is a journey in itself!!

well im native american(mikmaq) and i believe that interaciall marriages for native americans anyway are wrong why? because my race is the forgotten race long time ago when white man came they wanted to kill us all so there wont be anymore natives and wanted us to act "white" anywho and to this day our race is you can say endangered.i dont mind if a native has a relationship with a differant race but i dont like it when they have children because thats another reason why my race is being endangered.i think that natives should have children with natives to keep our race alive.
im not racist but i dont want my race instinct.

I have NO problem with that. IF 2 people are happy, whats the problem??? There are people out there who are VERY judgemental. But as long as your happy, go for it.

As long as the two people love each other, it's their business. Let them get married.
