Because women have trained us to beleive that we need to have money, power, or some other shallow virtue to be worth dating. If you are a "good guy" forget it. You WILL finish last. Always.

Guys have as many insecurities as girls. Being around girls seems so foreign to them, because our minds work differently than theirs. Now, not all guys are like this, and I have a bunch of friends that are guys. But a vast majority are.

because girls are mean. VERY MEAN. Not all of them do it but they will humiliate a guy that trys to meet them.
My sister (who was only 18 at the time), was sitting in a bar (it was legal then) with her friends. Some guy came over and asked one of them to dance. the girl said no and when the guy turned around to leave, my sister stuck her foot out and tripped him.
She was a girl at the time, very immature. But I'll never forget that lesson when I heard her tell the story and laugh. I remember thinking: "I have a Beeeyotch for a sis."
She still is. 25 years later.

Because you are mean and cruel and nomally respond without taking the other persons feelings into account. Also you gossip like mad and guys really don't want to go down in flames with you and have no shot at your girlfriends because you shot your mouth off.

oooh I'm verry shy and it has been always in my life.
I just feel invading their space and may be have to much respect for them, I never understood why.
When I'm alone in room with a girl I dont know I'm nervous.
Maybe I'm just protecting myself in later years as I been hurt a few times.
