"Far reaches of time, couldn't keep us apart
The universe searching, a heart for a heart
Two wandering souls did forever unite
In love's tender arms, to our joyous delight
Your soul entered mine, taught me wonderous things
Love's message delivered on soft angel's wings
Hearts beating in time to this cosmic dance
A love so exquisite was never by chance
Searching the heavens, I traveled this far
To find I was meant to unite with a star"

Shakespeare's Sonnet #130:
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun;
Coral is far more red than her lips' red;
If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses damaskt, red and white;
But no such roses see I in her cheeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound:
I grant I never saw a goddess go;
My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground.
And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare
As any she belied with false compare.

I know that some people wouldn't consider it a great love poem. I love it, though, because he is saying, "No, you're not perfect, you're not a fantasy. You are a real, live woman, and I love you more because of it."

What lips my lips have kissed, and where, and why,
I have forgotten, and what arms have lain
Under my head till morning; but the rain
Is full of ghosts tonight, that tap and sigh
Upon the glass and listen for reply,
And in my heart there stirs a quiet pain
For unremembered lads that not again
Will turn to me at midnight with a cry.
Thus in winter stands the lonely tree,
Nor knows what birds have vanished one by one,
Yet knows its boughs more silent than before:
I cannot say what loves have come and gone,
I only know that summer sang in me
A little while, that in me sings no more.

love rears the great; love tends the small; breaks off the yoke, breaks down the wall; accepteth all fulfilleth all. Sing hymns of love, that those who hear far off in pain may lend an ear, Rise up and wonder and draw near. Leads lives of love , that others who behold your lives may kindle too
with love and cast their lots with you . - christina rossetti

One of mine called " Yesterday"

When thoughts of yesterday creep into my soul, the black sadness over takes my heart, tears consume my eyes. But thankful thoughts of the touches and smiles of kisses and of words so sweet, experience the hurt of love and the burn of passion that is now but a silent ash and a somber sound of smiles. A lost embrace, a stolen kiss spin inside my soul.
As I sleep tonight that blanket of memories warms the heart and i smile and think of ...you.

"Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant 5or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. 7It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
