I firmly believe you can. Sex can screw everything up. Waiting until you really know each other as people is the best bet. You cannot put a time limit on it because everyone is different but as soon as your body gets into it your head goes and you think your heart may be feeling something it is not. Everyone has been hurt and hurt someone else. It is human nature. You just have to make an effort not to do the same old things that you already know don't work

Yes and sometimes that is best. You get to see how you feel, develop a strong friendship and then make the move to a wonderful relationship. Its a good idea if you are not sure of yourself.

yes you sound like me and my ex-boyfriend, i love him dearly and im sure he loves me. we just can't be together because of the things i've done and the things he's done. we've hurt each other too much and took things too far that i don't think we will ever get it back to how it was. we still hang out, but it's not the same he's a different person now as well as i am a different person. we've outgrown each other immensely. but we cannot just stay away from each other.

No. Once a cheater always a cheater.
No you hurt someone you should be with them
No the trust of intimatcy has been betrayed then staying together is pointless.
No the thoughts will always be there of the hurt.

why no intimacy???

people who aren't intimate and in a relationship are platonic... and that doesn't usually happen between members of the opposite sex for very long...

You and your siblings. You and your mom. You and your dad. You can love a host of people and not be intimate with them!
