If you can operate a telephone, you're probably over-qualified to work for Pizza Hut.

Yes! Like others said, be loud enough, clear, put on your best speaking voice, project confidence and smile when you talk that makes your voice sound warm.
Prepare a list of questions about who they are looking for?
Besides each of your Q's jot part of their reply.
Then once you have finished asking Q's.
Go over the list and tell them how you are qualified in the exact same areas they just told you they were looking for.
Ex. You ask What sort of hours are you wanting the AM to work?
They say. nights, weekends... you go back over that and say I'm looking for a job to work nights and weekends and on call or whatever.
You ask How many people do you want the AM to manage?
They say 5/
Then go over it again and say I have managed that many people at my last job, or I am doing that now, since the AM currently is away from the store or whatever like that.
All successful interviews consists of intelligent questions followed with assurances that you already know how to do it.
But whatever you do, if the person interviewing you sounds like an idiot, don't talk way over their head. Stay at their level even if they seem like a chimp to you, get down with it. No one gets hired by being superior.
Never ask about the pay!! Never ask about any benefits to you.
Never tell them what you made some place else.
I have had great success ending interviews by asking
"If you were going to make the decision right now, without others input? Would you offer me the job?"
They are usually shocked! But often I was told right then and their, a simple yes or some other babble about other interviewees in line, hire from within, etc. You'll know from what they say.

Companies like this like to hear certain things. Try to mention the word Teamwork in the conversation. They will be keen to know how customer services is important. Think about your hobbies, and don't just say mucking about with my mates. Aim for something slightly more interesting, cinema, music books, sport.
Some companies opperate a telephone interview to weed out people who cannot hold a conversation, before the actual interview, so don't worry if you think it was over too quickly as long as you say something. Hopefully there will be a second chance.
Good Luck.

When i was interviewed for a Customer Service position. I told them a joke over the telephone.
It went down really well, i didnt get the job at the end. But i did get to the last stage and they always said what a good idea the joke approach was.
Hope this helps.
p.s Not a dirty joke.. lol

I had an interview with them a long time ago. It's the usual stuff regarding Customer Service skills/ Management skills. Try to put across your personality too as they said I was very quiet (nervous) and that put a question mark over my management ability. Hope the interview goes well.

As a former Manager of fast food chain, I will tell you the best thing you can do is to sell yourself! Let the interviewer know that you are available, enthusiastic and willing to try something new.
If you really want the job, you must be flexible. Don't be afraid to let them know you are the best person for the job thruogh you previous experiance, etc. Sell, Sell, Sell!

Speak slowly, clearly and intelligently. No um's, or ya's. Be very polite with the "Yes Sir or Maam" and just let them know you want to be part of their team and would be proud to say you work at Pizza Hut since it is such a quality company.
But remember speaking to someone on the phone is not like speaking to them in person. Your voice must be clear and loud enough for them to hear.

The answer given by rtfn is incorrect. You have not got the job until they offer you a contract of employment. It does sound fairly positive though. It is now common practice to obtain your NI number and Bank Account details as this is now required by law. If you are kept waiting for more than a week I would contact them and ask if they have reached a decision as to whether they still wish to employ you.
