Sim Tower... yes it's a super old game...?

Does anyone know the "trick" (if any) to this game? I can't seem to figure out how to get things running smoothly, for example, how to get the people happy (not pink or red) how to get the tower to the 100th floor, and get the sims up to that floor... I looked on the internet for little tricks but I keep finding cheats instead. Please help! It's driving me NUTS!

the truth is there are no tricks trust me i have every game ever made with the name sim in it from sim town to the sims 2
