So my husband and I just got stationed at FT. Drum... And there seems like there is nothing to do here!!! We went to Canada (Kingston) and had a blast...but there's got to be more then that? right? Any suggestions would be wonderful!!!!

The Adirondack Mountains are somewhat close to there. Plan a day trip to do some hiking once the winter weather starts to break. Just be sure to bundle up in layers when you go. Also, the 1000 islands are close by for sightseeing.

If you are the outdoorsey type. You can go white water rafting about ten miles of base. Water Town is kinda cool to check out they had a place to go hiking. I love doing that kind of stuff!
