my internet is working fine but when it flashes it runs slow

depending on your pc and your modem, it could just be that it is downloading, and using all it's resources at that time..... contact your isp or your phone company and see if they can help. it should be free troubleshooting on thier end.

Usually indicates that the hub is trying to get the best connection for your broadband line. If it's constantly flashing orange then it could be interference on your line or a faulty filter.

Unplug the modem for 10 seconds or so and then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, contact your ISP...they can troubleshoot.

on the router or the computer?
it depends on your router's model but is your internet working fine?
