The weather is an entity unto itself but when cold fronts get near warm fronts is when you have storms and all kinds of activity. I live in the mid-west and when we have a hot, sultry, humid day we can almost always count on thunderstorms that night. Here in the winter we'll have warm Gulf air come up and meet Arctic air coming down from Canada and that'll cause ya some problems, let me tell ya.

there are many things which affect the weather, but two things cause weather the presence of water vapour in the atmosphere and the diurnal heating of the earth

Number of things. such as....

-Jet stream
-Wind Currents
-Sea and Air Temperatures.

Most importantly, THE SUN affects our weather the greatest.

well, where you live determines how the weather will be. and the sun shining or if precipitation is coming. or cold fronts or warm fronts. it's really not a difficult thing.
