But if you do, wear a shoe with a heel (but NOT stiletto heels) and a summery edge, but it should cover most of your foot. And do not, EVER, wear boots that end just as it hits the pants. Just don't.

Knee high boots. You can also pair tights or leggings under them so that your legs stay warm. If you are going to be inside all day you can also put a closed toe pump with them. One tip for the winter is to put the no slip grip pads on the balls of your shoes so that when you are coming in from the weather you don't slip on the tile.

Tights and cropped trousers (pants to you) are really 'in' this season and then you could wear pumps with it. Or as a matter of fact, footless tights also look really good with them too.
