definately check your pilot on your hot water tank. if it is gas, it would have been shut off when the furnace was being replaced, and the installers did not bother to check before they left.

Hot water doesn't come from your furnace, it comes from your water heater. You didn't specify whether it was a gas or electric water heater. If it is gas, make sure that your gas is turned on and the pilot light has been lit. If it is electric, make sure that the circuit breaker for the water heater hasn't been tripped in your circuit breaker box. Hope this helps.

I would make sure that they lit the pilot light on the furnace (underneath it).

But it is weird...I'm usually in hot water all the time at home (even without the furnace lit).

If your furnace is gas and so is your water heater check your water heaters pilot light , odds are they turned off your gas to work on the furnace.

My bet is they had to turn off your gas supply to replace the furnace. YOu'll need to relight the pilot light. If you cant do it yourself, call the people who put in your furnace and they should be able to do it for you.

Well that depends on how your water is heated...it could be your gas service or hot water heater is having the problem, not your furnace. Or maybe the pipe broke or they accidentally switched your cold input w/ your hot...
