Creation myths are generally the first ones in any culture. After that, probably myths about death and weather phenomena.

Some early mythologies include Sumerian, Assyrian, Babylonian, and the myths of the Polynesian Maori.

The History Channel did a special on Dragons. They claim that Dragons are present from the beginning of man's existence in all cultures from Asia, through the Eskimo's, into Western Europe, & Africa.

The story of Lillith before there was Eve, Adam's wife and the demon seed, Lillith having the Nephilim, but then that was also rumored to be satan's plan to breed humans and fallen Angel's. I don't know if they are old, but they go back to the beginning of time. I wonder if Big foot is the Nephilim, (giant).

Pernaps the Mother goddess from whose womb all of creation sprang? I think that one is from caveman days. The little fetish statues 'protected' their belongings while they were hunting and gathering.
