I've always used a dish towel but someone said it was gross.

WOW!! And I've been doing the towel for over 40 years. Proves you're never too old to learn.

I have a whole kitchen drawer full of clean dishrags. I don't like leaving moisture on the counter because it attracts dush and stuff. One towel is for after washing my hands (clean), one is for drying the counters, and the other one cleans up the messes.

So 3 dishrags a day at home isn't bad. And since there's laundry everyday, I just toss them all in the washer every night.

Yes, use paper towels, you toss them after use. Less chance of recontaminating the counters.

How about paper towels? Less chance that there will be germs on them.

air. For dishes, for everything. If theres one speck of germ on that drying cloth, you're just smearing it around.
