Ornamental fish describes any number of colourful fish that are commonly bred and kept in fishtanks in captivity.

Fighting fish, I am assuming you are refering to betta fish

These are fish native from Thailand. They are so named because they are very territorial with other betta fish and will flare up and fight with each other if kept together - as such, male bettas must not be kept with any other bettas. Bettas eat betta pellets and freeze dried bloodworms, as well as a number of frozen meaty foods like brine shrimp and daphnia.

Other fish eat a variety of foods from flakes, pellets, sinking pellets, algae wafers, beef heart, earthworms, smaller fish, insects, shrimp, etc. Depends on the fish.

Bettas (fighting fish) typically need a container larger than 1 gallon, and they are more meat-eaters than anything else. Flakes are wonderful for bettas (pellets are well known to cause constipation, but that's all some bettas will eat).

I dont be attentive to a lot approximately decorative fishes, yet battling fishes are bettas. in case you decide on a betta, please cope with it such as you will possibly do for each tropical fish. Get it a minimum of a 2.5 gallon tank with a clear out and heater, provide it particularly designed betta water, alongside with gravel and a hideout and flowers to cover in. Please dont have a fish combat with 2 male bettas! Bettas consume betta pellets, betta flakes and luv as a cope with freeze dried bloodworms.
