There are many different colleges that will prepare you for the teaching experience. Most states require a 4 year undergraduate degree and a general education teaching credential. A master's degree is not required, but obtaining one within your teaching career may help.

I hope this helps!

the best route for college is an early childhood education degree then start work on a masters after you get a job and get a masters in literacy or media or special education

Woohoo! Another teacher forthcoming! Kindergarted? Oops! Spell check...A junior college or technical college (2 yr. program) would be a good place to start. Best to you, CAKES

Check your state requirements. Important advice is work with children while you are in school. Many people go to school and never step inside a classroom until they are done and realize they are not made for the job. Look into internships at public schools or working with school age children in your local YMCA.

A bachelor degree is fine, even an associates from some tech schools as long as they have an internship available for experience
