yeah sure lots of ways. try going to cafes and galleries and stores and asking them to hang your work "on consignment" or even buy it. start with your favorite hangouts, maybe a place where you already know the owner. also there are often artist-ran communal type studios in many cities that maybe you could join. also try art shows.

You can go to the local Art Association in your town or city and sign up with them. They have lots of information on art events. Also craigslist is a source to sell on the Internet for artists to sell individual pieces in their own areas without having to shell out a lot of money. Local gift shops and stores might be willing to display your art and charge you a percentage if they are sold. Also there are Galleries on the web that represent artists.

try to get support in your area and hold an art sell. Make sure to advertise and remember you're staring out so prices have to be right or if you are a good negotiator make it an event where customers make offers for your work. The offer making idea is also a way to see how good your art is liked. Auctions are also an option.
