It depends, I never tell COMPLETE lies, but whether people admit it or not, everyone lies at some point.
I prefer to tell people the truth if it what they want to hear, and if the truth isn't what they want to hear . . I try yo either aviod talking about the aubject until it passes, or just break it to them lightley, like throw in sme good news with it, like letting them know about a movie everyone is going to, and invite them! Hahah!

There are always ways for being diplomatic with people without turning into a kiss @ss. It is important to not become sycophantic when dealing with people. Usually a person can tell if you are treating them well or just trying to kiss up to them and get on their good side for your own personal gain.
I deal with people a lot in my job and my people skills have to be really good as I pass information on. Some people I work with have awful people skills and it really shows!

Yes, ma'am, I sure am good at telling folks what they want to her. That is somewhat how I got ahead at such a tender age because of brown noising and doing it fairly well.

Nope. Most of the time I'm TOO opinionated and blunt and blurt out whatever's on my mind without worrying about what other people think.

Yeah, very good actually. I know a bunch of people who are dummies and don't wanna hear about the negative/bad/dumb things they do.

While I can do it--and well--I really don't like to do it very often. Then ya gotta keep track of what you told to who, etc.,...easier to speak truths, in the end. But yeah, I can. Shoulda been a politician, I'm that good when I wanna be...
