If your warranty is still "active," then you can replace it. Your music should be in your Library so you can just put it into the iPod Nano.

I have had other electronic devices like my watch and cell phone fall in water and they worked fine a couple of days later after they were dry, the internal drive is sealed pretty tight and I highly doubt you got any water in it. It should still work, just make sure to leave it in a place warm to dry, maybe about a feet away or so from a light bulb.
Good Luck to you and Happy New Year ! :)

Give it a hair drying for about 5 mins( keep it at arms reach tho!)
let it settle and dry out for a bit but by any means dont plug in or charge!

best of luck

You might have to warm it very gently to cause water/dampness to evaporate. Try putting it into warm( Not Hot) part of airing cupboard where warm air can circulate around it for a little while.Hope this helps, good luck!

Dry it out for a couple of days somewhere where it is warm, but not humid, then try it. Maybe it will still work.
