I have one ear ring and I think my stud or back of my ear ring is 2 loose should I be able to feel the needle on the bottom of my ear or should'nt I feel it I just don't want the earring 2 fall out.

Could I wear it loose without it falling off. It seems like it won't fall off because to take the back off it requires force to be applied to take the ear ring off.

The backs with the plastic around the actual earring back help to keep earrings snug in place. Sometimes, it often has little to do with the stud or earring being loose, as much as the size of the hole in your earring. By going to any store that sells earrings, you should be able to get a whole package of earring backs with the plastic around it for under $5-$10.

They sell backs that work well for this dilemma. In the meantime try a piece of tape.

If you think it's too loose tighten it up a bit. Not too tight though, that can irritate it.
