Unless you have really long cycles, it is too soon to start experiencing pregnancy symptoms as you arent fertile until mid cycle - 14 days before your next period - which would be about now. It could be early PMT, but again a bit early for that too. Unless you are pregnant even though you had your last period. Was it lighter than usual? Some women experience pinky/brown discharge in place of their period when they fall pregnant, some rare cases they do have periods throuout - it has been known! I would suggest, buy a home preg test now - if you are preg from last month it will show up, if not I'd say the two symptoms arent linked. Stress & worry can bring on heartburn, if your anxious or thinking so much about falling pregnant it may have been brought on. Sore nipples can arrise from dryness of skin, irritation from clothes or a moisturiser etc too. But take a test now & you will know. Good luck, take care. x

Waiting to see if your next period comes or not is the only sensible thing to do. It is too early for any test to give a certain answer at this stage in your cycle. Earliest test works 4 days before due period but the small print on these say it may not give an accurate reading if insufficient hormone level is present. So you could have a case of testing too early + getting a false negative reading.
The symptoms you say you have are not conclusive. Sensations similar to early pregnancy can easily be imagined, a sort of wishful thinking can cause a hyper tuning into the body. I was there like you last month, waiting and wondering, convinced that certain thwangs in my body were telling signs of child no 2 on the way. I did a test early. A waste really as my period came 2 days later. Give it time, step off the pressure pedal you're putting on yourself (this can in turn delay your period), relax focus on other things and then wait + see. It is so hard being patient but there is no other way. Good luck!

Looking back (im currently 7 weeks preg) I had some symptoms before I was due on...they were heartburn (some people will tell you that you shouldnt get that until the last month but my preg books say you can get it straight away due to hormonal level increase) I had extra vaginal discharge, my breasts were very sore and i needed to urinate way more than usual....I guess only time will tell but goodluck. What i would say though is that although loads of over the counter preg tests say they can detect a pregnancy before your period is due these are quite unreliable. i used an early test three days after my period was due and the first two tests i did said negative...at 5 weeks I did two more which were positive. I would also advise you to use first morning urine because it means that the HGC (pregnancy Hormone) has been building up in your system overnight and not been diluted by you drinking all day..that way you will be more likely to get a positive result if you are pregnant. Goodluck to you!!!

if you are having unprotected sex then you have a chance of being pregnant, i know of women who come off the pill to start a family and don't have another period until their baby is born its the luck of the draw, hope that's happened for you.

don't test yet, you don't have enough hcg in you blood for a home test to detect it. wait at least five days before your period. and if it comes up neg. wait and if you don't get you period test again.
