The past few weeks have been repeats on Grey's Anatomy. Why haven't they been new episodes? Did I miss something?

New episodes start Jan 11. They probably have been doing repeats because of the holiday season. there are lots of shows that are doing repeats right now, but they'll be new soon.

well, I don't know what you all are watching, but according to the info on my directv programming alert for tonight, the new episode starts tonight. Has to do with a car accident that slams the ER and Izzy pushing her probation. I know that wasn't the last new one I saw, so ya might want to check for sure before you wait until next week. The last new one that was on was the one with the conjoined twin brothers.
The repeats are because of holiday programming and the bowl games. same thing happens around superbowl, NHL playoffs and the world series. The fall season is only so many episodes, so they take a break about halfway through to stretch it out. Also, on Grey's, they are still considered interns in their first year, so they can't do any type of holiday episode because it will throw it off, unlike a regular sitcom. At the end of this season, which is season 3, they will be done with their first year.
and now ya know......

It's on repeats cause people were on vacations and no time to watch them. Not good ratings in the Holiday seasons. It will all be new next week.

They only tape a certain amount of episodes and then take a break. Then they return to tape the remaining episodes for the end of the season. It's pretty normal nowadays, and it allows newcomers to catch up before the end of the season.

All of the TV shows are on a hiatus until after the holiday season. They're ALL showing repeats.

Pretty typical of prime time tv to do this. They could be letting ppl catch up who have missed episodes, too. *shrug*

Never fear, there's a new one on next week, 1/11/07.

all tv shows are on hiatus during the holiday. they'll start up again. in fact, this season, the networks had mid-season finales to announce their hiatus which they've never done before.
