Toddlers: Aren't they absolutely adorable? "Terrible twos" is probably putting it lightly for parents....grandparents have been there done that so this learning period is a drop in the bucket. What are some ways a child - at the toddler stage - exercises free will even under supervision?

Whether to scribble on the wall with the green crayon or the purple one.

A toddler is the sum total of free will at its best. They are just in the beginning stages of learning right from wrong and they don't quit fomring that until the age of 12. That's why kids at that age can sometimes be tried as an adult as the conscience is usually fully formed and set by then. I have a two year-old as well and he is my 3rd child. I also have a two month-old so the fun will begin again soon. :)

They lie, steal, ect... They are the perfect example of what is meant by original sin. They do things that are not taught to them which have no useful (evolutionary) value for survival.

Jenny stole my answer. I was going to say something along the lines of "what ISN'T an example?"
