my laptop fell of my desk on day and when i grabbed it my nail slid under the t button and it popped off! I have all the pieces of the button but when i took it to a repair shop they said it was no point, i'd be better off buying an connectable keypad.

Some people have told me that it is possible 2 fix it, do any experienced people have any instructions as to how i could do this?

Have you tried snapping the key back on? It all depends on how much damage was done. Keyboards are not cheaper. I have to buy one for an older Thinkpad and it's about $102.00 US.

Key Fell off the Keyboard

If the Computer is under Warranty, arrange a Mail-In Repair Service. If it is Out of Warranty, suggest the Customer to contact ASP or ask him/her to replace the Keyboard.

Suggest the customer that he can get the Spare key for a very nominal charge at a service center

Depends on the exact make and model; if the pieces are broken you can get a replacement key with instructions for a few bucks. Look on eBay for Buy-1-Key.
