Why is it that people say I am jealous of people with a higher Y!A Level? Am I missing something here?

A couple hours back I asked a question regarding how pathetic somebody must be to make it to Level 7. About half the responses said I was "jealous." Can somebody explain to me why I should be jealous of a higher Y!A Level? Am I missing something. Does it make you a better person to have a higher Level. Will you get farther in life with a higher Level. I was of the impression that this site is for entertainment and, sometimes, informational purposes only. What, exactly, is so special about higher Levels that I am missing here???

Ok, Im going to answer your question with a question and then a statement.

Question- you say these people are desperate to get to these high levels, now high levels means that they answer stuff. The "insult" was on the high level people. So in aother words, the people you "insulted" were the ones who were answering that question maybe?

statement- People must spend alot of time to get there. Then it becomes a big thing

other statement- I like cookies and this post might be unnecissarily long.

They probably said that because you were insulting people who are on level 7. I'm on level 7 and I don't think there's anything pathetic about it. I don't spend all my time here, I've been on Answers for over a year. Since you said it was pathetic they assumed you were jealous. There's nothing really special about higher levels, you just get more privileges with asking and answering.

The best thing about having a higher level is being able to answer as many questions as you want with no limit. I know I used to hate it when I wanted to answer a question but was at my limit. Other than that it's not really a big deal. Although it's not nice to insult people who have made it to a higher level.

After level 5 it really dosent matter. Q's and A's are unlimited. Now that I am here I don't care anymore and don't vist as often as I did trying to get here!
