I was gettin over a cold and when i blew my nose, it started to bleed. So i pinched my noise closed and put ice on it for a while and then washed it out with water. It stopped bleeding but now when ever i blow my nose i see blood mix w/ mucus but it doesn't start bleeding. This has been going on for more than a week.

When you get a nosebleed a vessel has ruptured in the nasal passage somewhere. It must then heal. Every time you blow you irritate this area and it bleeds, like bumping a scab on the arm while it is healing. Try to avoid blowing the nose at all for about a week and allow that area to heal completely.

Try not to blow your nose on the side that is bleeding for a few days, so it can heal. I just got over a cold too and I had nose bleeds for 3 days in a row. I started using a humidifier for a few hour in my bedroom and the nose bleeds have stopped. I think the dry air was making my nose worse after a cold.

Well... If it was after a cold... You could have a strep infection somewhere in your body that has caused a temporary spike in your blood pressure?

Especially if untreated, strep can travel in your body and manefest itself in strange ways...

Go to the doctor!
