Best horror genre game for the P.C??

i have F.E.A.R (and did'nt find it at all scary) i was wondering if there are any other horror/shock games for the p.c? (ideal games to play late nite with all the lights off)

Look for the game called "SCRATCHES" you will pee your pants as that game is pretty freaky. You just purchased a manor in upstate England, and at first you start off trying to find a way to turn the lights off because of a horrific storm, then you go around in a point and click adventure and puzzle game from a first person perspective. You have a phone in the main walkway that you can folks on to get clues about the old inhabitants of the house. Well as you progress, you will finally realize why the game is called S-C-R-A-T-C-H-E-S!

If you have surround sound you will definitely pee your pants on that title! Me and wife are currently in the middle of the game, and she can't even look at the screen at times and hides under a pillow!

Another game is an old one but good one is from the Gabriel Knight series such as Phantasmagoria and the Beast Within! Well good luck and don't let beasties get ya.

You have Doom 3, and Half Life 2. Half Life 2 isn't really a horror game, but it has its moments. It has a level that was sort of designed to scare you. The level is called "We dont go to Ravenholm" If you play that level with the lights off and everything, you're gonna be up for a bit that night. I was. I even quit the level the time I did that.
